Prayer
Foundations Church is a praying church, and we believe prayer is an essential foundation for all the work of God's kingdom. There are several opportunities throughout the week to gather with others specifically to pray. Anyone is welcome to join!
Sundays
We feel it is important to commit each worship service to the Lord and call on Him to move every time we gather. With this in mind, we gather for 15 minutes of prayer directly prior to both services. Join us at Magruder Elementary School at 8am and 10am every Sunday!
Thursdays
Thursday is a weekly opportunity to learn more about prayer through the study of God's word at 11am. Currently, we are reading through Rees Howells, Intercessor by Norman Grubb. This updated biography tells the story of one man who progressed in faith until his prayers even altered world events. Written with humanity and humor, this book uncovers the rich truths of the Holy Spirit.
At 12pm, we transition to a time of prayer and petition on behalf of our congregation, our community, our nation and our world. Join us on Thursdays at the church office (161C John Jefferson Rd., Williamsburg).
