Green Branch Church
Since our inception in 2018, Foundations Church Williamsburg has been committed to being a church-planting church, recognizing that it’s the most effective way to multiply the ministry of the gospel in our community. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of Green Branch Church during the summer of 2022!
Though separate and distinct from FCW, Green Branch will be part of the same Open Bible Churches association to which we belong. It will be led by two members of our congregation, Davy and Tammie Saunders, who are following the Lord's call to pioneer a micro-church model in the Hampton Roads region to reach people who are disconnected and distant from the church. Specifically, their target population is the 147,000 people in the 582 square miles of Upper York County, Williamsburg, James City County, Charles City County, and New Kent County.
Most people congregate in three spaces: home, work and social settings. Green Branch Church proposes to meet them where they are by establishing a multi-location network of small “micro-churches” to engage people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Green Branch will partner with Foundations as a “missional outreach community” that spreads into the seams and cultures of our neighborhoods and towns where traditional church structures are not equipped to go.
It's our privilege to send Green Branch Church out with our support, prayer and financial backing as they get established. To inquire about making a financial gift or to learn more about other ways you can get involved, send an email to Davy and Tammie via the button below. They'd love to hear from you!
