The Bible reminds us that children are a "gift" or an "inheritance" from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), a blessing not only to their families but to the wider community of God's people. Christian parents throughout the generations have dedicated their children back to the Lord, recognizing that sons and daughters are only lent to us for a short season of time (1 Samuel 1: 27-28), and recognizing the weight of the responsibility to lead them in the "discipline and instruction" of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
As a church family, we stand with these precious families and pledge our prayer, support and our encouragement to them as they teach these little ones to know Jesus and to make Him known to a generation yet to come.
