Prayer Gathering

Thursdays, Beginning at 11:00 am

Foundations Church is a praying church, and we believe prayer is an essential foundation for all the work of the kingdom. You are invited to participate in an hour of prayer every Thursday from 12 pm to 1 pm. This time will be preceded by a time of learning to pray more effectively as we go through Andrew Murray's classic, "With Christ in the School of Prayer"  Thursdays beginning at 11:00 am. 
All are welcome to join either session, or both.

In response to COVID-19 closures, we are not gathering in person at this time. FCW Prayer Gathering hostess, Leslie Knicely, will be hosting a church-wide prayer gathering on our Foundations Church Zoom video-conferencing platform.  Simply download the free Zoom app, and email groups@foundationschurch.com for Zoom link.

A Prayer For Such A Time As This

Heavenly Father, in these uncertain times, we can’t help but acknowledge that
You are sovereign and that You have allowed this corona virus to disrupt
lives all around the globe.
We ask You to have mercy and intervene on our behalf.
Many are isolated and lonely – reveal the love of Jesus Christ and provide connection.
Many are anxious and in financial need -- we pray You would
bring provision, peace, and a cure for economic woes.
Many are suffering or at risk – we ask You to comfort, heal, protect, and lead us to a cure for Covid-19.
Dear Lord, please move on our hearts in such a way that Your answers may come
speedily. By faith, we are thankful for Your divine interruption of our lives.
We trust You and believe You will be revealing Your redemptive nature in this crisis.
Let us be a part of that redemption. We also repent of our individual and collective sins, and
acknowledge that we’ve needed You to interrupt
the insignificant and direct us to the eternal.
Give us grace to embrace all that comes with this disruption and to
respond to it in ways that bring You glory.
Our hope is in You, Lord.
